What is the shelf life after opening a product?
We cannot offer shelf life recommendations for any opened product, as the handling and storage of the product and potential for cross-contamination is outside our control. For optimum shelf-life, the end user should follow good laboratory practice to preserve the integrity of the product as best as possible depending on how critical the end-use is. For example, storing in the original bottles in a cool, dark place, keeping bottles tightly sealed, filling the headspace of the bottle with an inert gas if deemed necessary, etc.
Where can I find Certificates of Analysis (COA) for products that I have purchased?
Please fill out the online enquiry on the ' Contact Us' page, and provide the product code and batch number on the respective product.
I need to ship to a different delivery address – how to amend delivery address for an online order?
To have the delivery address amended for an online order, please add a comment or delivery instruction of the new address and our team will amend it manually for you. This is a once off amendment, if you need the address changed on the account, please contact us to make this request. If placing the order via email, please ensure the new delivery address is listed in the purchase order. This is help ensure our ordering system can scan the new address and process it correctly.
How can I place an order for restricted products, if I am a cash account customer?
As a cash account customer, upfront payment is required for all orders. But when ordering restricted products, please contact us directly as the process is slightly different, due to certain restrictions.
How long will it take to receive an order confirmation?
Once our customer service team has received your order via email, we aim to send a formal order confirmation within 1 business day. However, online orders are typically confirmed more quickly than emailed purchase orders, as this process is semi-automated. If order confirmation is not received longer than 3 days, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid any further delay.
What is the lead time on items that are in stock?
Once the order is placed on our system, it takes about 1-2 business days for the order to be dispatched. Shipping within Australia takes about 5-7 business days, depending on the location.
What do I do if I have a problem with a product?
If a product arrives damaged or does not meet your expectations on quality, please contact us providing the relating sales order number or purchase number, and description of the issue.
How can I order a product from one of your Partner Brands?
Our partner brands include - Glentham, RCI Labscan, TCI, USP, Honeywell, Scharlab, Decon. Please complete the online enquiry [ HERE] to make this request with the delivery address, full product code and quantity provided. Our team will get back to you with the next step in placing the order.
How can I access Safety Data Sheet (SDS)?
For CSA Scientific products, search the product on our shop page using the product code, chemical name or CAS-No. The SDS is attached to the specific product page.
For CSA Pathology products, please refer to the SDS page [HERE].
If SDS cannot be located or has expired, please fill out the online enquiry [HERE] providing the specific product code. With product code or CAS number provided, it helps ensure the correct SDS is provided to you. |
What are the benefits of having an online account?
If your CSA Scientific account has been approved for online access, you have access to check stocks, view pricings, and/or track deliveries. Some accounts are given the access to place orders online and generate quotes.

Do you supply your products to the public/private individuals?
No, we do not supply our products to the public, nor do we deliver to domestic addresses. Please refer to a distributor in your area, as they are able to retail the small packs and small orders direct to you without requiring account set up or wholesale bulk order quantities as we do.
